About Us
LSUSAC is branch 9165 of BSAC - the British Sub-Aqua Club.
We're also the diving club for members of Loughborough Students' Union (hence our name), and by extension Loughborough University.
The branch is run by students, for students. There are also a number of University staff involved in the club, either as diving members, instructors, or committee members. Remember that because the club is not a commercial dive school, the committee are all volunteers - which means you can get involved too. One of the best ways of getting as much as possible out of your membership is by putting as much as possible in!

How to Join
Submitted by graeme on Thu, 02/10/2008 - 17:20.Once you've done your try dive, crossover session or checkout and have decided to continue to learn to dive with us, you need to join. Please note: do not pay for membership until you have attended one of the sessions unless a committee member has already spoken to you.
Membership is currently £80 per year for students and staff; all members must pay for AU Affiliation too, which costs £12.
PLEASE NOTE: membership includes the classroom sessions, pool sessions *and* equipment required to pass whichever level of qualification you will be taking, but attendance on dive trips costs extra.
